Young naturalists (ages 5-10) are invited to join us for an hour of learning, crafts and fun themed snacks. The program is FREE and limited to 20 children plus their grown-ups. Please contact Kim Weldon at 427-5166 or kimberly.weldon@cityof- fortwayne.org to sign up and reserve your seat. Registration deadlines are one week prior to each program. The History of Groundhog’s Day Saturday, January 19, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Get a jump on Groundhog’s Day and uncover the history and myths surrounding this yearly event. Along with learning some interesting facts about our favorite furry prognosticator, we’ll make our own Groundhog’s Day prediction, make a ground- hog puppet, and enjoy a Groundhog’s Day snack before our time is up!


Animal Tracks and Facts
Saturday, February 16, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Little detectives will discover what animals are still active during winter and what they are doing, as well as how to identify the tracks they make. We’ll have fun making our own animal tracks, creating a fun woodland animal craft, and enjoy a great ani- mal track themed treat before the hour is over!
