Skating with Miracle Sister
Now that the nasty January weather is behind us and the temperature is starting to rise again, it’s time to find something fun to do outside! Headwaters Park Ice Rink has been home to all kinds of fun this winter, and that fun doesn’t stop just yet. Come down to the rink on Saturday February 17, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. for Skating with the Miracle Sister. This special guest (who doesn’t talk about Bruno) will make an appearance at the ice rink and be available for pictures and autographs. Make sure to stop by for some skating, hot cocoa, and music from some beloved kid’s movies. The ice rink will be open for normal operating hours (12:00-9:00 p.m.), so stick around after our guest leaves and see that the magic of Headwaters Park Ice Rink never goes away!
While Skating with the Miracle Sister is our last scheduled program, you can also get in on the fun during Dollar Night Thursdays! The $1 admission skate days are thanks to a donation by Marcia Crawford and Grant Crawford who wish to celebrate the memory and community service of Dr. John Crawford, a physician and radiation oncologist and 20-year member of the Fort Wayne City Council. Reduced admission and $1 skate rentals will be offered for guests on Feb. 8, 15 and 22.
The Headwaters Park Ice Rink will be in operation through Sunday, February 25. General admission costs on all days except Thursdays are $6 for ages 3+ and free for ages 2 and under. Skate rental is $3.
