Mind Over Matter Collective: Sundays on the Riverfront
Learn something new, get some exercise, and build a stronger community at Promenade Park! Enjoy tranquil yoga classes or switch it up with lively dance classes. Theres something different to learn and enjoy every week. Enjoy tranquil yoga classes with Mallorie Ables on the first and third Sundays of the month, and switch it up in between with a variety of dance classes designed to get you moving inside and out. There's something different to learn and enjoy every week. If you have your own yoga mat, please bring it to class as our supplies are limited. This event is from 4pm - 5pm on Sundays throughout 2020.
The first and third week of the month we have yoga classes with Mallorie Ables. On the second and third week of the month we have dance classes.
The yoga instructor is local Mallorie Ables. The dance instructors through February are from Fort Wayne Ballroom Dance Company. Beginning in March, our dance lesson will come from Embody Dance taught by Steven Vachon.
The yoga class is for any skill level. Instructor Mallorie Ables gives recommendations and modifications to allow for different abilities to make participants more comfortable, as well.
The dancing is for all ages, abilities, and levels.

We have yoga mats available for your use for free. Our supplies are limited, though, so if you already own a mat please bring it. Also bring a water bottle so you can stay hydrated.
Wear shoes you will feel comfortable in to dance for an hour.
This event will be held in the Park Foundation Pavilion until the summer, and then we will be moving this to the Auer Lawn.
